I primarily examine the antecedents and consequences of misinformation belief and partisan identification, both independently and in terms of how these processes shape and reinforce one another. My aim is to translate this research into practical strategies that ameliorate the harmful effects of partisanship and misinformation in social, professional, and civic contexts.
I earned my B.A. in Communication Studies from Concordia University Irvine and my M.A. in Communication Studies, with an emphasis in Political Communication, from The University of Texas at Austin, where I am currently a first-year Ph.D. student.
